TM - It was one of those days...

Breathe in. Breathe out.
Even the fastest man on the planet was glad for the invention of the Itunes. When you run faster than the speed of sound, it can get pretty quiet on your morning run. But that NaNo fit perfectly under the skintight running suit, and with a pair of headphones that doubled as a headband, he now had something to occupy his mind as he ran.
However, the music made Pietro's mind wander, and he almost ran straight into the fireturck in his path. Luckily, he looked up and swearved out of the way in time, then stopped to watch where it was going. He thought to go back to his run, but then as the song changed, he could hear the screaming of people.
Quickly he took off after the firetruck until he got to the scene. There was a building fire, and a bunch of kids were standing out in the snow, blankets wrapped around them as a few adults huddled nearby.
"There's still some inside," one of the firemen commented.
That was all Pietro needed to hear. he was off like a shot into the building, running from room to room, looking for the missing kids. Soon, he came to one room and as he opened the door, three sooty faces looked back at him.
"Please Mister, we're scared," the oldest one said. "There's fire everywhere!"
"It's ok," Pietro walked over, picking them all up. "I can run so fast, the flames won't even touch us."
"Are you an Avenger?" a little girl with dirty blonde pgitails asked.
"Sometimes." Pietro smiled and picked the three up, then took off running outside. Soon, the adults were standing around them, thanking him with their whole hearts, hugging the little kids, then slowly moving away from him.
He watched them a moment, and the little girl waved at him from over the shoulder of the adult holding her. He waved back, the child reminding him of his own daughter.
He then turned and looked at the building, but the fire department had it all under control. So, he put his headband back in place, started his music up again, and took off running again.
Yup. It was just another one of those days...
