RP History:
Childhood: (merge of Comic and my semi X-Men:Evolution Canon)
Pietro and his twin sister Wanda were born on Wundergore mountain to Magda, who abandoned the children and wandered off into the snow. Bova, their nursemaid, worked with the High Evolutionary and found a pair of gypsies who took the twins in.
After a series of events in which showed the potential powers in both twins, the Maximoff's were given tickets to American by a stranger, as well as documents that would let them get into the country. As very young children, Pietro and Wanda arrived in America and lived in the basement of a Bronx apartment building.
As they got further into their youth, D'Jango took to stealing food for his family because they were not making enough to survive. One day, he got caught, and there was a fire in the apartment. The twins survived, their parent's did not.
Instead of being put into social services, they were taken in by Eric Lensheer, who raised them as if they were his own. There was something about them that he could not place. (It wouldn't be until they were adults that all three would discover their familiar bond). Wanda's powers continued to grow out of control, and Eric, even with the help of Charles Xavier, was unable to control them, and for the best of the child, he had her committed into a mental institution. Pietro, unable to handle this, ran away and was eventually picked up for stealing food and put into a group home.
(start events of X:Men Evolution, but with Pietro being the ward of Eric/Magneto, not son)
As high school started to come to an end, Pietro realized that he didn't want to be a member of the Brotherhood anymore. Wanda was also tired of it, and they didn't want to be seen as bad guys. Finally, when rumors of Magneto's death came about, the Brotherhood disbanded, and the twins took that as their cue to try and change their lives.
That is when the Avengers opened their doors to the twins.
Adulthood: (From here, he follows all the events of the comics up until the end of the House Of M storyline when Wanda states "No More Mutants.")
Pietro woke up after being brought back to life by his sister to hear her words, and then a flash of light. When his eyes readjusted, he found himself left in a field on Wundergore Mountain. Part of him wondered if everything that had happened was part of a nightmare, but as he made his way to the High Evolutionary's castle, he came to learn that it wasn't.
He saw the news reports about the loss of the mutant population. Then slowly, as weeks went on that he stayed in hiding in his homeland, he heard about the superheros going to war against each other, about the mutants slowly getting their powers back from otherworldly means, and guilt ate away at him as he knew most of this would not be happening if not for him and his sister.
Wanda... he didn't know where she was hiding. He had tried to find her, going on short trips to places they were both familiar with as safe areas, but she was never there. Not having his sister at his side, not knowing her location... it ripped at his foundation. She had always been a stabilizer to him, and without her, he felt lost and for the first time in a long time... alone.
