Personality:

There is a picture in Pietro Maximoff's head. It was 2005. He and his twin sister were ten, and it was a normal day - as normal as life in Sokovia. There may be rebellion in the streets, but in their home it was nice. Mother, Father, Sister and Brother sitting down for dinner after a long day.

That was when the bombs started to fall.

The first hit the building two floors below, opening a hole that swallowed up their parents. Pietro grabbed his sister and pulled her under a bed as the second bomb hit the building, the shell laying only feet away from them. Two days they were trapped, waiting for the shell to go off. Two days in which the older twin's mindset was forever changed.

Arrogant, impulsive, and a very overprotective big brother tends to sum Pietro up. Let's break this down, shall we?

Arrogant: Being a survivor has given Pietro a bit of an edge. He's angry at the world that took his happy life from him, and he has no problem fighting back now that he isn't a child. Having been an orphan and helping take care of his sister, he's developed an attitude that he puts out in front to make him bigger than he really is. It's a survival instinct: sarcasm, playing pranks, and acting as if he is better than others - it's just the wrapping that keeps him from looking back at the past and the pain that lives there.

Impulsive: While this trait increased once he received his powers, Pietro's impulsiveness grew from living on the streets. It they wanted to eat or sleep somewhere safe, the twins had to act on opportunities when they presented themselves and only worry about the consequences if they got caught. After getting his powers, the speed in which he views life at makes it hard for him to sit still and be patient. He doesn't tend to think, just do, and it can get him hurt or in trouble. He also tends to have a short fuse when someone is trying to instigate a reaction out of him.

Brother: He is older than Wanda by 12 minutes so he takes the older sibling responsibility especially since Wanda's powers can make her a bit fragile at times. Wanda is his anchor that keeps him grounded, and they often balance the other out when the other is overwhelmed. Wanda's safety and happiness comes before everything else in Pietro's mind - she is his number one priority even over himself.

There are other pieces that make up the man. There is a hero's heart in his core - Sokovia has had a hard time, and while that has made an impact on Pietro's ability to care about many people, his love for his home country is strong. He wants to be able to take care of his sister, his people. When Strucker offers the experiment opportunity at a protest, he takes that as an opportunity to be able to be stronger and to protect them. Wanda had her misgivings, but he was able to convince her to do this with them. It was that which drew Ultron into wanting the twins at his side - that stubborn yearning and willingness to fight to make their world safe again.

There is a playful side, often seen by his sister by Hawkeye ends up becoming a victim of a few of his playful jibes in the end. He's not above using his powers to pull pranks - what's the use of super speed if you can't have fun with it?

But coming to Teleios, Pietro is going to have to face two very hard facts almost immediately. The first is that he's pretty much stuck in Teleios since he is at the end of his timeline. The second is that even with the super speed, he is still only mortal - a lesson he's forgotten since the experiment started in 2013. It's going to knock him back a few pegs, making him lean on his sister a bit at first as he tries to find his footing in this new world that isn't his homeland - a homeland he will never see again. The large MCU cast is going to be confusing for him as well since he was never sure where he stood with them until the very end, and them not knowing him is going to make him unsure about if he should restart that relationship, or if they should try and make it on their own.

Powers/Abilities: As an experiment for Hydra, Pietro's DNA was morphed to accelerate his entire being by Loki's staff: his body has formed to allow himself to travel at super speed. Movie canon doesn't really break his power down a lot, so I'm going to use comic canon to explain it: his power has allowed him to run up to 220mph. Time moves slow for him when he isn't moving at super speed, and that allows him to be able to see things in slow-motion and react to them long before they get their intended result. To counterbalance this, Pietro's metabolism is always on high which keeps him skinny, muscular, and hungry. His body is morphed to being able to handle the kinetic energy from the speed - less oxygen, friction, his muscles and joints are able to handle the speed.

Also, as Wanda is his twin sister, they have a natural ability to be able to sense each other's well-being and pretty much read each others minds.
