Lorna closed her phone with a scowl and stepped back beside Alex. Pietro didn't look much calmer. She exchanged a worried glance with Alex and put a hand out to her brother.
"You can trust us, Pietro. We want to help - you and Wanda. I've been trying to get her to talk to me and come here. Nobody wants to hurt her." She glanced at Alex again, biting her lip, nervously. "Please let us help you."
