Mun Ponderings...
Ok, so the last entry got me thinking...
While I love Pietro in the Evolution timeline, it's really only a very small canon to play with and I'm afraid I'm going to run out of prompt ideas after a bit.
I was thinking of changing his orientation a bit... but I can't figure out where to go from here?
From the prompt I wrote last, I could see Pietro going from evolution into the ultimates storyline (ultimate x-men and then the ultimates line themselves). I'm well aware of his canon that way completely, and have almost all the issues on hand to refer to.
But then I'm also lacking a bit because I lose the ability then to grow him up the way he did in the original Uncanny and Avengers line, with Crystal and Luna. The on again, off again husband and father moments really bring alot out in Pietro's character.
And no, I'm not touching the House of M stuff. I'm still mad at how Son of M 1 ended... bastards...
Um, ok, I'm wandering now. But I was wondering what others think who read this... would you rather see an adult Pie versus the kid Pie? and if so, which version of the adult should I pull from?
I could always make a merge of the two (I'm actually really good at doing that), but then that's going to be a LONG ass bio I'll have to put on the user info...
What do you think? Please discuss/brainstorm this with me, cause it WILL in the end reflect what will show up on here.

I liked the cartoon, but I have to admit that all the stuff from Avengers/X-Men interested me more in terms of Pietro. He's a great character that could go either way -- or his own way, as we saw in "House of M".
I wouldn't worry about the bio. My Emma has a link to the comic canon bio from www.uncannyx-men.net, but she is "frozen" around the events of "Phoenix : Endsong". After what Whedon wrote in "Astonishing", there was no way I could keep following the comic canon since I have no idea of her motives now.
If you're more familiar with Ultimate, I say go for it.

I'm very familiar with them both. I've been following Quicksilver since I got into the series as a teen. Gambit drew me in, kurt held my attention, but pietro won my heart.
That's why I'm torn. I love the old stuff with the Avengers/Xmen (and especially his 13 issue solo series), but then there is the more intense Ultimates...
AGHS! I can't make up my mind! LOL!
