TM - Perceive

How do people perceive me?

Arrogant tends to be the topper on the list of perceptions. Followed by stuck up, impatient, egotistical, and thick-headed.

Then I'm sure others can throw in there mentions that I act before I think, that my mouth goes before my brain... all those little wisecracks about my speed and how it effects the way I think.

Sometimes I get people who do see beyond the speedster. Those people see a bit deeper, they see that I have a logical side. My IQ is high because I'm able to absorb information quickly and retain it forever.

Misunderstood is also one of the ones I know. Usually goes along with the Son of Magneto perception. People tend to think that in the end I'm going to be just like him. Yet all my life, since I've known he was my father, I've been trying NOT to become like him.

Yet there's another perception that forms the foundation of what I believe I am.

I'm a brother. A father. A husband. And I try my hardest to be a good man.

OOC : Emma says to ignore HoM. *nods* She's doing the same thing. *LOL*

Well, TM wise I don't pay attention to it. My canon stops right around 1997 with the adult life, and then I have merged a bit of Evolution in and out when needed.

But I mean, WTF?! Can I rant a moment? Have you read the series?!

Oh yes. I read it. I liked some of the things that were done, but overall there are some things now that make me go "huh?"

Especially now that Scott & Emma are supposedly responsible for not protecting 43 students who died at the mansion. It just doesn't fit with the characters. Bah.

The only thing I enjoyed about HoM was Wanda not having to die. (Well, Mags losing his powers was also pretty awesome *L*)... but... yeah.

Yeah, but in Son of M.... Pie is very scary. VERY unlike Pie. I'm just hoping that the last issue wraps things up, or I'm going to boycot Marvel until the next "reset" comes out.

Oh. Yes. *nodnod* I liked the idea that he had no powers. How would he handle it? Etc. But... yes. I understand.

Just like Emma telling a student to cheat and possibly kill another student, and then cheating herself so X-23 won't be on the new team after showing no remorse over the many deaths. Oy. I'll stick to "Astonishing", where Joss at least writes her consistently.
